1981 Moto Guzzi Le Mans Mk11 850cc. The Le Mans is an original UK bike from new, and looks stunning, and sounds amazing, with it’s Lafranconi competition exhaust silencers. The Le Mans starts easily and and runs nicely, and all of the electrics work. There is a current V5C registration document present, notes and other documentation, and a comprehensive history file, that includes lots of purchase receipts from Stein Dinse, Gutsibits, as well as other purchase receipts, which add up to a considerable amount of money being spent on the Le Mans over the years, keeping it in fine fettle. Without a doubt, red paintwork is the best colour for a Le Mans. The paintwork looks great, however the petrol tank has some blemishes, that don’t detract from the overall look, but may be a consideration to have corrected at some point in the future. The seat has been recovered, but the original seat base and lower fairing panels are present and included with the sale of the Le Mans. This is a nice honest bike that has been well cared for.
